Handy downloads for geocachers

We have compiled some great examples for you to use for your geocaching adventures. Some are available only in .pdf format while others are available in Word. Those in Word can be edited to fit your needs and the .pdf documents can't be edited unless you have a program capable of doing this (such as the full version of Adobe Distiller).

Feel free to download these and use them in your own caches! IMPORTANT: to open the document, you need to save it to your desktop (right click and choose "save as" for PC's or click and hold, then choose "save target as" for Macs). Otherwise, it make ask you for login, which isn't needed!

Type of Document Description Download
Micro Cache Log These are two-sided (or print it and staple the two together). Prints several per sheet in strips to be cut apart. Great for small caches. Just roll them up and put them in Micros such as 35mm film canisters, etc. Word Format
Travel Bug Passport Use this fold-over card to provide information about your travel bug. This one needs to be updated (as TB's aren't $6.50 anymore but I guess with postage, it would be about right). .pdf Format
3x5 Notification Card - IMPORTANT!

All caches need one of these!

This is a VERY important card to place with your cache. It tells what the container has in it, and what it is so that if it is found by law enforcement or other officials, they will know what it is. Someone suggested using waterproof tape and putting this on the "outside" of your container so that if it is found, this tag can be read from the outside and hopefully, your cache won't get blown up because it was "suspicious." HOWEVER, you can buy bumper sticker paper at Office Depot and print this off using a green background on your stickers with white letters so that it's readable, and waterproof! Word Format
Altoids can card This one fits great in the little Altoids cans (or similar size). Word format
Cache Stickers This is a Word document that you can print out on bumper sticker paper (found at Office Depot or Staples). I have been told that if you put a clear coat on over this once you put in on the cache, it holds it color better. Word format
